What do you get when you cross two women who love Punk and cupcakes? How can we evolve Punk to have a broader audience and play on its Punk nature?
SOLUTION
Implementing bold colours, sharp edges that reflect the flavour undertones of a taste bomb in every flavour moment, brings the brand to life, with a take on modern Punk style and how it can be appreciated with all its rebellious spirit.
Quirky flavours include, Fig Vicious, who rules with a hint of blue cheese. Raspberry Ramones sounds sweet but has a hidden kick with chillies and Pineapple Pistols will let you enjoy a sweet burn after flavour. Keep those flavours ‘rockin’ Vivienne and Ramona.

The Concept
TRIBUTE TO 70’S PUNK MOVEMENT
Sid Vicious, The Ramones, Sex Pistols and more were the legendary icons of the now defunct Punk movement of the 70’. Total chaos, rebellious, provoking and with daring abandon being the key words to drive the concept forward.
The Story / The Brand
The journey of how Vivienne and Ramona Cupcakes came about, highlights the brand’s journey and story background. It creates a broader view of the faces behind the scenes and plays a supporting role to its whole identity.
Bringing Punk forward to 2021
Creating a personality for the flavours, ensures a longer shelf life, with an added Punk inspired theme as the flavours, gives Vivienne X Ramona’s cupcakes multiple avenues for expansion in the future. A series of fun flavours based on the tribute Punk bands can follow and the revamped Punk feel creates an energetic brand and one that’s not afraid to be loud.
Balancing Act
The challenge of balancing the personality of the Punk inspired theme against the personality of the flavours became the refining test for the Vivienne X Ramona’s cupcakes design. The final result encapsulates the fun and engaging product with a long shelf life.
